Terms & Conditions - Susbcriptions

1. - SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENTS & RENEWAL

1.1 By purchasing a subscription, you authorize a recurring payment charged to your bank card via direct debit:

          • Feel Good: £48.00 per month
          • Feel Great: £85.00 per month
          • Feel Amazing: £130.00 per month

1.2 The subscription has a minimum commitment of 6 months and cannot be canceled or suspended during this period.

1.3 Payments will continue monthly until the subscriber requests cancellation after the initial commitment period.

2. - SUBSCRIPTION USSAGE & ALLOWANCE - Use-It-or-Lose-It Policy

2.1 Each subscription grants access to sessions per month as follows:

          • Feel Good: 4 sessions per month
          • Feel Great: 8 sessions per month
          • Feel Amazing: Unlimited sessions

2.2 A session consists of 2 hours of class followed by a social dance (duration varies between 1 to 3 hours).

2.3 Each subscription plan includes a monthly allowance of sessions, as stated at the time of purchase. This allowance is valid for 30 days from the date of subscription or payment renewal, and must be fully used within this 30-day period.
 

For example, if your subscription is activated or renewed on the 25th of a month, your monthly allowance must be used on or before the 25th of the following month. Unused sessions do not carry over to future months. Any unused portion of your monthly allowance will automatically expire at the end of the 30-day validity period and will not be reinstated, refunded, or credited to future cycles.

Users are not permitted to use sessions from a future month’s allowance in advance.

Sessions can only be used once the relevant 30-day cycle begins. Booking or attending sessions beyond your current monthly allowance — even if the system temporarily allows it — is considered a breach of these Terms.
 

This policy applies to all subscription types, regardless of the number of sessions included or whether the plan provides limited or unlimited access. The 30-day subscription cycle is always calculated from the payment/renewal date, not the calendar month.
 

2.4 Subscribers who reach the end of their monthly allowance before their renewal date may still attend classes by purchasing additional sessions as Pay-As-You-Go. This additional attendance does not modify, extend, or replace their subscription allowance, which will refresh only on the next renewal date.

 

2.5 Subscription usage for workshops and events:

 

          • Feel Good & Feel Great: Not valid for Saturday Intensive and Super Intensive Cuban Workshops or special workshops/events     

          but can be used at Latin Paradise, Salsateca Fiesta, and Salsateca Sunday Socials.
          • Feel Amazing: Can be used at Saturday Intensive and Super Intensive Cuban Workshops, as well as Latin Paradise, Salsateca              Fiesta, and Salsateca Sunday Socials (excludes other special workshops or events not listed).

2.6 Subscribers must book classes online and select “Pay with my plan” at checkout to deduct the session from their allowance.

2.7 A session cannot be split. If a subscriber books a one-hour class, it will still be counted as one full session from their total allowance.

3. - NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-SUSPENDABLE

3.1 Subscriptions are non-refundable under any circumstances.

3.2 Subscriptions cannot be frozen, paused, or suspended during the initial commitment period.

3.3 Unused sessions do not carry over to the following month.

4. - PERSONAL & NON-TRANSFERABLE SUBSCRIPTION

4.1 Subscriptions are strictly personal and non-transferable. Subscribers may only book classes for themselves.

4.2 Misuse by booking for another person may result in cancellation without a refund.
 

5. - MISUSE, SYSTEM LIMITATIONS & CONSEQUENCES

5.1 Subscribers must comply fully with the rules set out in Sections 2 (Subscription Usage & Allowance), 3 (Non-Refundable & Non-Suspendable) and 4 (Personal & Non-Transferable Subscription).

5.2 Although our booking system may occasionally allow actions that contradict these Terms (such as booking beyond the monthly allowance, booking into a future cycle, rescheduling expired sessions, or using one subscription for multiple people), such actions are not permitted and do not constitute approval or acceptance by Salsateca.

5.3 Any of the following will be considered misuse of a subscription:

• Booking or attending sessions beyond your current monthly allowance.

• Attempting to use sessions from a future allowance period.

• Pre-booking or rescheduling in order to bypass the expiry of unused sessions.

• Sharing, lending, or allowing another person to attend using your subscription.

• Any deliberate attempt to exploit system limitations or loopholes to gain access not included in your plan.

 

5.4 If misuse is detected, Salsateca reserves the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to:

• Cancellation of the subscription without refund.

• Forfeiture of remaining sessions or access privileges.

• Restriction or blocking of future subscriptions or re-activations.

• Removal of any incorrectly booked sessions, including those made due to system limitations or errors.

• Suspension or permanent prohibition from attending Salsateca classes, workshops, or events in cases of serious or repeated misuse.

 

5.5 Subscribers are solely responsible for monitoring their own usage and ensuring that all bookings comply with these Terms. Using the “Pay with my plan” option constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of the applicable subscription rules.

6. - VENUE CHANGES & OPERATIONAL ADJUSTMENTS

5.1 While we strive for a stable class schedule, we reserve the right to close venues temporarily or indefinitely.

5.2 No refunds or suspensions will be granted as long as at least 75% of venues remain available.

5.3 If fewer than 75% of venues remain operational, we will assess possible alternatives, including adjustments or alternative class access options.

7. - SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL & CANCELLATION

6.1 After the 6-month commitment, subscriptions automatically renew on a rolling monthly basis.

6.2 To cancel after the initial period, subscribers must notify us at least 7 days before the next billing date to prevent further charges.

6.3 Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or through the subscriber dashboard on our website or by emailing admin@salsateca.co.uk.

​

1. One-time purchase (no subscription): These packages do not auto-renew.

2. Validity: Your 3- or 6-session package is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

3. What counts as a session: A session is 2 hours of class plus a social dance (1–3 hours) depending on the day and venue. Sessions are indivisible and must be used in a single visit—partial attendance or late arrival counts as a full session used.

4. Personal & non-transferable: The package is for one person only and cannot be shared or transferred.

5. Where you can use it: Packages are valid for regular daily sessions only and not valid at parties or workshops (including Latin Paradise, Salsateca Fiesta, Salsateca Sunday Socials, Saturday Intensive and Super Intensive Cuban Workshops, or other special workshops/events not listed here).

6. Non-refundable & no freezes: All package sales are final. Packages cannot be frozen, paused, or extended.

7. Expiry: When 30 days elapse (or when you use all sessions), the package ends and a new purchase is required.

8. Operational adjustments: We may temporarily or permanently adjust venues/schedules. No refunds or extensions will be granted as long as at least 75% of venues remain available. If fewer than 75% remain operational, we will assess possible alternatives (e.g., adjustments or alternative class access options).

2.4 The allowance can be used in our regular daily sessions but is not valid for Saturday Intensive and Super Intensive Cuban Workshops or special workshops/events as Latin Paradise, Salsateca Fiesta, Parti pa' ti and Salsateca Sunday Socials.

Terms & Conditions - Gift Cards

​

1. Validity: Gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Any unused balance after the expiry date will be forfeited.

2. Where you can use gift cards: Gift cards are valid for Pay-As-You-Go (drop-in) classes only. They cannot be used to purchase packages or subscriptions..

3. Non-refundable: Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

4. Personal use and redemption: Gift cards may be redeemed online at checkout. If the purchase total is lower than the gift card value, the remaining balance can be used on a future purchase within the validity period.

SELF-RESCHEDULING

​

• Students who can’t attend must reschedule before the class start time by logging in to their dashboard (My Bookings → Upcoming → Manage → Reschedule) and selecting any available date/venue. After the start time, rescheduling isn’t available and the session counts as used.
