5-WEEK SALSA LADY STYLING COURSE

Cuban Salsa Lady Styling with Virginia Timón

True Lady Styling is not about doing more. It’s about doing less, but doing it beautifully. This course focuses on the details that make a dancer genuinely captivating: the way you carry yourself, the quality of your movement, how you interpret the music and how naturally you incorporate styling into your social dancing.

What you will learn

Each class begins with a guided warm-up focused on posture, balance, coordination and Cuban body movement, helping you develop greater body awareness, control and a strong foundation for your styling.

Rather than focusing on complicated sequences or learning lots of fancy moves, this course explores the small details that can completely transform the way you dance. You’ll work on Cuban Salsa footwork, arm styling, body isolations, weight changes, transitions and subtle movements that make your dancing look natural, feminine and graceful.

The focus is on quality rather than quantity: learning how to use your body, connect your movements to the music and add styling naturally within your dancing. You’ll discover how small changes in posture, arms, hips, shoulders, head movement and musical interpretation can make a big difference to the way you look and feel on the dance floor.

Through short combinations and practical exercises, you’ll learn how to incorporate these elements into your social dancing without relying on long choreographies or complicated sequences. After all, on a busy social dance floor, you don’t need a lot of space or hundreds of moves to stand out. A confident, graceful dancer can create beautiful movement with just a few well-executed details.
The aim is to help you develop a more feminine and fluid Cuban style, giving you the confidence to express yourself naturally, connect with the music and make every movement count.

Teacher

Virginia Timón is an experienced dancer and teacher with a particular passion for body movement, musicality and the small details that make a real difference on the dance floor. Her own dancing has a distinctive soft, feminine and graceful quality, with a strong focus on fluid movement and natural expression.

As a trained life coach, Virginia brings an additional dimension to her teaching. She uses her coaching experience to help dancers overcome self-consciousness, build confidence and become more comfortable expressing themselves through movement. For many years, she has helped students develop not only their dancing skills, but also the confidence to feel more natural, relaxed and expressive as social dancers.

Her classes combine attention to detail with a warm and encouraging teaching style, creating a space where students can explore their movement, understand their own body and gradually develop their personal style. Rather than trying to make everyone dance the same way, Virginia encourages each dancer to discover and develop their own natural Cuban flavour.
